As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out screening procedures for individuals and/or items entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location, following site-specific policies and protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries and directions related to site access and security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity.
Document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to communicate potential security-related concerns or hazards.
Support emergency response activities according to site-specific plans and instructions from Allied Universal or site leadership.
