About The Position

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full-Time in Saint Petersburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain a visible presence to help reduce incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will assist residents and guests, monitor access points and common areas, document observations, and communicate clearly with your team. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate updates to the appropriate parties.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and unusual activity.
• Monitor entry points and community amenities as assigned, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations through professional presence and clear communication.
• Complete security-related reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and promptly report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to site leadership.
