As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential apartment communities, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to residents. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, engage with residents and guests, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the residential community.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the buildings and perimeter of the residential location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and site management as needed.
- Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management for the residential location.
