Job Description As a Security Officer - Real Estate Patrol in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with property management, tenants, and visitors as required.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports of incidents and daily activities.
  • Assist in implementing site-specific security-related procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal or client management.
