About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Residential Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency responders when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to residents and visitors.
