Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Driver in La Jolla, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the property to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will also provide exceptional customer service, support the community, and communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or client contacts.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized areas within the location.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and patrols as required by Allied Universal policies.
Provide visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity within the commercial real estate environment.
Support emergency procedures and assist with evacuations or other urgent situations as needed.
