As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to residents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the community, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any concerns to management or law enforcement as required.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Communicate professionally and courteously with residents, visitors, and staff, providing assistance or information as needed.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings during patrols and while performing assigned duties at the location.
