As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting access control, visitor management, and lobby presence. You will monitor activity from the front desk, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and guests. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Staff the front desk to help manage access control, including greeting visitors, verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems from the reception area and report irregular activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete written and electronic reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in a timely manner and in accordance with site requirements.
