As a Front Desk Security Officer at a residential location, you will welcome residents and guests, support access control and visitor check-in, monitor activity from the lobby area, and communicate concerns to the appropriate contacts. You will help create a professional first impression while supporting security-related procedures with courtesy and clear reporting. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Manage front desk operations including greeting and directing guests, monitoring access points, and supporting visitor and/or vendor check-in and check-out processes per site guidelines.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity using observation and available systems, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues to site management per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete required reports and logs, communicate shift updates, and support a professional residential environment through consistent policy enforcement and customer-focused service.
