As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for staff, patients, and visitors, providing a welcoming presence while supporting security-related screening, visitor management, badge and key control, and incident documentation. You will communicate clearly, respond to service calls, and help to deter security-related concerns through strong visibility and professionalism. Requirements

  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Control access to the facility by greeting and screening visitors, issuing badges and/or temporary credentials, verifying identification and/or appointments, and directing patients, visitors, vendors, and staff to appropriate areas.
  • Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or access control; document and report irregular activity per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, notification of clinical staff and/or management, and coordination with local responders when requested.
  • Complete required logs and reports, maintain accurate visitor records, handle calls and requests for assistance, and communicate security-related information to oncoming personnel and site leadership.
