Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities within a residential location. Your responsibilities will include managing communications, responding to incidents, and supporting access control efforts. By remaining visible and proactive, you help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication, all within a culture that values teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities within the residential location.
  • Receive and respond to calls for assistance, emergencies, and incidents in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Communicate with on-site security personnel and direct resources as needed to address incidents or requests for service.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and communications according to site-specific policies.
  • Assist visitors, residents, and vendors by providing customer service and information as needed.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by relaying critical information and facilitating prompt responses to situations as they arise.
