Job Description As a Security Officer - Dispatch Security Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence. You will be responsible for responding to alarms, managing access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed throughout the location.
  • Receive and document calls, incidents, and requests for assistance, maintaining accurate records in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Coordinate response to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access procedures.
  • Support site-specific policies and procedures, adapting to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense environment.
  • Assist with the management of access control systems, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Communicate important information to on-site security-related teams and management to promote awareness and readiness.
  • Participate in emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols and guidelines.
