About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist Clearance Required in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at an aero and defense location, you will monitor alarms and cameras, coordinate responses, and maintain clear communication with on-site teams and emergency services. You will document incidents, manage radio and phone traffic, and support routine patrol coordination to help reduce security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as alarms, access control events, and video surveillance, then dispatch officers and/or maintenance or emergency resources according to post orders.
  • Receive and triage phone and radio communications, document calls for service, and coordinate responses in a calm, problem-solving manner during incidents and critical situations.
  • Maintain accurate logs and incident reports, including dispatch activity, key events, and notifications made to site contacts and/or public responders as required.
  • Coordinate and track regular and random patrol coverage around buildings and perimeter areas, communicating assignments and status updates to help to deter unauthorized activity.
