Job Description As a Security Officer - Government Dispatch Operator in Perris, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing dispatch protocols to support field personnel and coordinate responses.
  • Monitor and operate communication systems to relay information to on-site staff and emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all incoming calls, incidents, and dispatched personnel, following established protocols for the location.
  • Assist in coordinating regular and random patrols by communicating with security staff and tracking their movements around the location and perimeter.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points through surveillance systems and communication with on-site staff.
  • Maintain familiarity with the location's emergency procedures and assist in their implementation during critical events.
