As an Allied Universal Security professional, you will play a vital role in providing access control at a residential location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and conducting routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also serve as a visible presence, offering exceptional customer service and communication to residents and guests. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the residential property, verifying credentials of all persons entering and exiting the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site procedures.
Communicate promptly with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
Assist residents and guests with directions or general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence at all times.
