As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols, and providing a welcoming presence to residents and visitors. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Control access to the residential community by verifying credentials of residents, guests, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting residents and visitors with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to observe for security-related issues and report any irregularities.
Document and report any suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or security-related incidents as required by site procedures.
Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management when appropriate.
