As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with residents and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of authorized individuals and vehicles.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with local authorities as needed.
