As a Security Officer - Mall Front Desk in ONTARIO, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting a polished guest experience while assisting with security-related access control, visitor management, and incident reporting. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with store teams and customers, and help to discourage unwanted activity through professional presence. Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, managing access control, and verifying credentials and/or appointments in accordance with post orders.
Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other systems from the front desk, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, conflicts, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to local authorities and/or emergency services when needed.
Complete shift activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift changes to support consistent site operations.
