Job Description Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Corporate Site in Boston MA Monday - Friday 730 AM - 4 PM Starting Pay is $22.15 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training / DailyPay Available As a Security Officer - Reception Desk in Boston, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at a busy location, helping to maintain a secure atmosphere through access control, visitor screening, and clear communication. You will monitor activity from the reception area, document security-related incidents, and provide customer-focused assistance with professionalism, reliability, and integrity while supporting a caring, team-driven culture. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Tue 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
  • Greet, screen, and direct visitors, issue visitor credentials per site policy, and support access control by monitoring entries, exits, and lobby activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from the front desk, and report irregular conditions per site procedures.
  • Complete required reports and logs, including incident reports and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to oncoming staff.
