About The Position

As a Security Officer - Radio Dispatch in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a tech and communications location.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and access control platforms, and dispatch officers and/or appropriate responders based on site protocols.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, radios, and electronic requests, providing clear directions and updates to field staff during incidents and routine operations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications per post orders and supporting incident coordination.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident documentation, including time-stamped activity reports, key events, and follow-up actions as required.
