As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing; note and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to manage the flow of employees, drivers, and vendors by verifying credentials, following visitor processes, and/or directing traffic as assigned.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, contacting appropriate parties, and/or supporting first responders when needed.
• Complete security-related reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift turnover notes in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
