Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Hospital Rounds in Mangonia Park, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. Requirements

• Must be able to work in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Must be able to provide proof of a high school diploma/GED.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for policy violations and/or suspicious behavior, and assist with visitor wayfinding and general inquiries as appropriate.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and onsite teams.
