About The Position

As a Security Officer - Property Patrol Rounds in Omaha, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet staff, members, and visitors with professional customer service, communicate clearly, and report concerns promptly. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and established access control procedures at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor cameras, doors, and other security-related systems as assigned, reporting irregular conditions and/or maintenance concerns through the appropriate channels.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written and/or electronic reports, preserving accurate information for follow-up by site stakeholders.
