About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol Rounds in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with on-site teams while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, tank farms, loading and unloading zones, offices, and perimeter points to help identify suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access control points by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, and directing traffic and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and local emergency services as directed.
• Complete routine reports and logs, document incidents and unusual activity, and communicate important updates to supervisors and site management.
