As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves providing outstanding customer service, clear communication, and upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors while enforcing access control procedures as required by the location.
