As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols and inspections, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with courteous service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, with opportunities to work as part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations per post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Control access at designated entry points by monitoring gates and/or doors, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing traffic flow as assigned.
Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
