Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, greet employees and visitors with strong customer service, and communicate clear observations using site technology. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience OR have a college degree.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Control access to the location by monitoring gates, doors, and visitor entry points, verifying identification and/or credentials, and documenting visitor and contractor activity per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and emergency services as directed and assisting with evacuations and/or accountability checks when requested.
Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision, and support site audits by documenting security-related checks and findings.
