Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control points, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and document observations using site technology. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, yards, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related and operational concerns.
Monitor access points and screen visitors, vehicles, and deliveries as required; verify identification and/or authorization, issue badges when assigned, and document entries and exits per site policy.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, suspicious activity, medical events, and fire-related notifications, and notify site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, perform security-related checks of doors, gates, and equipment, and communicate status updates to supervision and client representatives as needed.
