About The Position

As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols throughout the site. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious behavior during patrols and document findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with security-related inquiries and access procedures as required by site policies.
Work collaboratively with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support daily operations at the location.
