You will stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, document activity using computer or tablet tools, and support employees and visitors with professional customer service. Requirements

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization for employees, contractors, and deliveries, and help to maintain orderly traffic through gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints.
Maintain accurate access logs and visitor records, issue and track badges and/or temporary credentials, and report discrepancies according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, access denials, disturbances, and coordination with site leadership and/or first responders as directed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and perform checks of doors, docks, and restricted areas to help to identify unauthorized access and/or unusual conditions.
