About The Position

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Rover Patrol in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to calls for service, and provide clear communication and customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calls for assistance, alarms, and reports of unusual activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points, check identification or authorization as required, and assist with visitor, patient, and staff direction while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
