About The Position

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting employees and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. You will document activity, respond to concerns, and partner with site leadership to maintain smooth operations. Requirements

• Applicants must have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience OR a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma/GED.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and their guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and lobby activity, verify authorization for entry as directed by post orders, and assist with visitor management and/or queue control as needed.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and public responders when required.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observations and follow-up items to the next shift and/or site contacts.
