As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter incidents, and support access points with professional customer service and clear communication. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and partner with site teams to resolve security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; note and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance issues.
  • Monitor access points and help manage authorized entry and/or exit by verifying credentials, following visitor management processes, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; assist with de-escalation, notifications, and coordination with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Complete detailed shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and pass-down notes; communicate observations and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
