As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with professionalism, communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors, and document observations. Requirements

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, disturbances, and medical facility-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting hazards and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor for unauthorized persons and/or prohibited activity, help to deter theft and property damage, and report policy violations to the appropriate site contacts.
• Complete required reports such as incident logs and patrol documentation, communicate updates to site leadership and/or public responders, and support shift change briefings.
