This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I). As an Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrol in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and applicable protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry attempts, and/or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Support government location operations by documenting incidents, assisting with directions and inquiries, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
