As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and document security-related activities, observations, and/or incidents in written or electronic reports.
