As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will be a key point of contact for employees and visitors, providing helpful customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, supported by Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative team culture and integrity-first approach.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access points; verify identification and/or authorization for entry, exits, and deliveries according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports; communicate relevant updates to the site and Allied Universal leadership.
