As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist employees and visitors, and document observations using site technology. Backed by an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will deliver through teamwork, communicate clearly, and act with integrity while providing a welcoming presence.

Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a financial services location by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor processing and/or deliveries according to site procedures.
Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance as needed and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency services.
Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in reports and logs, and communicate pertinent information to supervisors and incoming personnel.
