About The Position

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and requests for assistance. You will support access control, document observations, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe onsite activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, disturbances, and medical calls as directed by post orders.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate key information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
