Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and tenants by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access control concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe CCTV and/or alarm systems when assigned, verifying credentials, managing visitor procedures, and documenting activity per site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and logs regarding patrol activity, incidents, inspections, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
