About The Position

As a Security Officer - CPR Certified Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor guest areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and provide a welcoming presence with clear communication and strong customer service. Requirements

  • Be 21+ Years of Age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and/or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, medical calls, disturbances, and fire alarms, and notify site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, lobbies, amenities, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or hazard concerns for reporting.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials where required, and assist with wayfinding, lost and found reports, and de-escalation of guest and/or visitor issues.
  • Complete incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site contacts.
