Job Description As a Security Officer - Patrol with Badge Checks in Marietta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly, respond to alarms and access activity, and deliver customer-focused support to associates and visitors. Requirements
- Security-related experience of 1+ years is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter routes, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor and contractor check-in processes, and communicate site rules in a professional manner.
- Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the shift.
