About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a reliable approach while helping create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
Support day-to-day operations by documenting incidents, completing assigned reports, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.
