As a Security Officer - Patrol Services in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related matters to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and support a welcoming atmosphere for guests and employees.
• Assist with handling disturbances, policy violations, and/or emergency situations according to post orders and Allied Universal standards, while maintaining clear communication with management and local responders when needed.
