Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry, disorderly behavior, and/or other security-related concerns within the location.
Document incidents, suspicious activity, and daily patrol observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local authorities, and/or store representatives when appropriate.
