As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
Monitor access control points such as gates, entrances, and shipping and receiving areas, including checking identification, logging visitor and vendor activity, and/or directing traffic flow as needed.
Complete accurate patrol reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
