About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Have customer service experience preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, observe building activity, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
Support access control procedures for authorized persons, provide directions and assistance as needed, and communicate clearly with property management and/or public responders during incidents.
