You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, monitor access points, and complete clear, timely reports while providing professional customer service to staff and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Bring a people-first mindset as you help reduce security-related incidents through teamwork, integrity, and reliable communication.

Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, donors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disturbances, and fire or facility alarms, and promptly notify site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or hazards; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and vendor check-in, package and delivery direction, and controlled entry procedures as required by site policy.
• Complete patrol and incident documentation, including shift activity reports and incident reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
