As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will drive designated routes and conduct routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents, support staff and visitors, and respond to calls for service with clear, professional communication. This post requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with nursing staff, facilities, and local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site and shift.
• Monitor access points and public areas, help to deter unauthorized entry, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations through proper channels.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, support visitor management and wayfinding, and assist with patient watch and/or standby assignments as directed by site procedures.
