Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical processing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support traffic and delivery control in accordance with location policies and post instructions.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel regarding security-related issues, policy violations, spills, suspicious behavior, and other incidents requiring follow-up.
